So blood bowl has officially launched. It's about a 1.5 gb download, and it only took me about 40 minutes. The install was less than 10. A couple things that may help you all out:

1. The confirmation e-mail with the download link will contain 2 activation codes, one called player key and the other called code. Once the game is installed, it will ask you at the end of the installation for the activation key. IT IS ASKING FOR THE CODE or SECOND LINK ONLY. Just copy paste it. The other player key will be used when you setup an online account.

2. When setting up an online account you will enter the player code, as well as a username, password, and e-mail address. The multiplayer userface is simple to use, and very intuitive. There is a friend's list, as well as private leagues and chat. For simplicitys sake, I used Narthia as my username. This way my username on blood bowl and the website will be the same. I will be setting up a forum thread for usernames so we can fill out our friends lists.

3. Settings: I would recommend not turing the graphics settings all the way up-I learned that the hard way.

4. The tutorial and manual: The manual is awesome, but the tutorial not so much.

I will be setting up our league over the nexy 24 hours, and all information will be available on the website. Steve and Bob, can you view the forums ok? My hope is that we can start scheduling league matches next week. Please contact me with any questions.

After reporting all your demands concerning the pre-download of Blood Bowl, here’s what your favorite Goblinette brought you back from the locker room! It was tough to find these information… I had to pay some bugmans for my team-mates, bribe the referee and even hire one or two wizards… but in the end, I got these precious answers!

You have a been a lot of fans to pre-order the game, that is why in order to skip endless queues , we decided to start sending important e-mails on the 24th of June midnight (Paris time).
In these e-mails, you will find a link to download the game and an activation key. If you were among the first ones to pre-order the game, you will be among the first ones to receive it! Waves of 500 e-mails will be sent every hour, so you will be able to download, install and play Blood Bowl as soon as your e-mail arrives.

For those of you that have preordered, it has been confirmed that the download will be available beginning Monday-links to the downloads will be sent via e-mail. It has also been confirmed that an 80 page straegy guide will be shipped in pdf format with the download, and will be accessible upon install. A cd key will then be sent around 5:00 PM Thursday to unlock and play the game. See you all on the vent servers!
